LIN6-3308 : "ifup eth0" does not work on the target which was configured with --enable-board=intel-xeon-core --enable-rootfs=glibc-std --enable-kernel=standard

Description

On the target, to Assign IP adders on the target,  I invoked "ifup eth0"; however the command does not work.

Workaround

invoking "dhclient eth0"

Steps to Reproduce

1) install WRLinux5.0.1.1 

Wind River Linux 5.0.1.1: DVD-R174754.1-21-00, DVD-R174755.1-21-00

Board Support Packages (BSPs): DVD-R174756.1-21-00 

Wind River Workbench 3.3.4 :DVD-R158451.1-1-1

2) configure a platform project with the following configuration

$ < installDir>/wrlinux-5/wrlinux/configure\
 --enable-ccache=yes\
--with-ccache-dir=<workspace-dir> /ccache\
--with-sstate-dir=<workspace-dir> /sscache\
--enable-board=intel-xeon-core\
--enable-rootfs=glibc-std \
--enable-kernel=standard\ 
--enable-jobs=3\ 
--enable-parallel-pkgbuilds=3\

3) build the project 

$ make

4) create the USB image

$ make usb-image-burn

5) Prepare the boot USB

6) Boot the Emerson target with the USB

7) After the boot process is completed invoke "ifup eth0"
