LIN7-7529 : Busybox ifupdown: pass interface device name for ipv6 route commands

Created: Feb 13, 2017    Updated: Sep 8, 2018
Resolved Date: Feb 20, 2017
Found In Version: 7.0
Fix Version: 7.0.0.23
Severity: Standard
Applicable for: Wind River Linux 7
Component/s: Userspace

Description

WRL busybox doesn't accept the route add command with link-local address and device name, while Linux kernel doesn't accept the command without device name. So it's impossible to create an ipv6 static route at all with busybox.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Boot up a WRL with busybox
2. Try to add an ipv6 route by using busybox commands.
