These 2 were back-ported from upstream, the WRL 8 which uses net-snmp 5.7.3 have not yet included them: 0001-net-snmp-fix-snmptrap-use-clientaddr-in-snmp.conf.patch 0001-net-snmp-snmplib-UDPIPv6-transport-Add-a-missing-ret.patch And these 2 are dedicated modification, should not be integrated to standard product, and be kept in customer layer: 0001-net-snmp-UDP-can-reuse-address.patch 0001-removing-tdomain-from-clientaddr.patch Background: To fulfill the requirement of "binding" snmp to a single IP address in an IP-multihomed environment we make use of the configuration attribute 'clientaddr' in snmpd.conf. example IPv4: [snmp] clientaddr 10.11.12.13 [snmpd] example IPv6: [snmp] clientaddr 2001:1b70:6281:f100::61 [snmpd] This works for IPv4 but not for IPv6.
