CVE-2023-2861 A flaw was found in the 9p passthrough filesystem (9pfs) implementation in QEMU. The 9pfs server did not prohibit opening special files on the host side, potentially allowing a malicious client to escape from the exported 9p tree by creating and opening a device file in the shared folder. -- Jun 12, 2023 10.18.44.30 (Wind River Linux LTS 18)
CVE-2021-3997 A flaw was found in systemd. An uncontrolled recursion in systemd-tmpfiles may lead to a denial of service at boot time when too many nested directories are created in /tmp. -- Jan 11, 2022 10.18.44.26 (Wind River Linux LTS 18)

MEDIUM Mar 25, 2019 10.18.44.15 (Wind River Linux LTS 18)
CVE-2023-4641 A flaw was found in shadow-utils. When asking for a new password, shadow-utils asks the password twice. If the password fails on the second attempt, shadow-utils fails in cleaning the buffer used to store the first entry. This may allow an attacker with enough access to retrieve the password from the memory. -- Sep 1, 2023 10.18.44.30 (Wind River Linux LTS 18)
CVE-2021-20277 A flaw was found in Samba\'s libldb. Multiple, consecutive leading spaces in an LDAP attribute can lead to an out-of-bounds memory write, leading to a crash of the LDAP server process handling the request. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability. MEDIUM Apr 1, 2021 10.18.44.23 (Wind River Linux LTS 18)
CVE-2018-16860 A flaw was found in samba\'s Heimdal KDC implementation, versions 4.8.x up to, excluding 4.8.12, 4.9.x up to, excluding 4.9.8 and 4.10.x up to, excluding 4.10.3, when used in AD DC mode. Medium Aug 11, 2019 10.18.44.10 (Wind River Linux LTS 18)
CVE-2020-14383 A flaw was found in samba\'s DNS server. An authenticated user could use this flaw to the RPC server to crash. This RPC server, which also serves protocols other than dnsserver, will be restarted after a short delay, but it is easy for an authenticated non administrative attacker to crash it again as soon as it returns. The Samba DNS server itself will continue to operate, but many RPC services will not. MEDIUM Nov 2, 2020 10.18.44.20 (Wind River Linux LTS 18)
CVE-2021-20254 A flaw was found in samba. The Samba smbd file server must map Windows group identities (SIDs) into unix group ids (gids). The code that performs this had a flaw that could allow it to read data beyond the end of the array in the case where a negative cache entry had been added to the mapping cache. This could cause the calling code to return those values into the process token that stores the group membership for a user. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity. MEDIUM Apr 30, 2021 10.18.44.24 (Wind River Linux LTS 18)
CVE-2020-27840 A flaw was found in samba. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability. MEDIUM Mar 25, 2021 10.18.44.23 (Wind River Linux LTS 18)
CVE-2022-32742 A flaw was found in Samba. Some SMB1 write requests were not correctly range-checked to ensure the client had sent enough data to fulfill the write, allowing server memory contents to be written into the file (or printer) instead of client-supplied data. The client cannot control the area of the server memory written to the file (or printer). -- Jul 28, 2022 10.18.44.29 (Wind River Linux LTS 18)
CVE-2019-14833 A flaw was found in Samba, all versions starting samba 4.5.0 before samba 4.9.15, samba 4.10.10, samba 4.11.2, in the way it handles a user password change or a new password for a samba user. The Samba Active Directory Domain Controller can be configured to use a custom script to check for password complexity. This configuration can fail to verify password complexity when non-ASCII characters are used in the password, which could lead to weak passwords being set for samba users, making it vulnerable to dictionary attacks. MEDIUM Nov 14, 2019 10.18.44.12 (Wind River Linux LTS 18)

MEDIUM Aug 1, 2018 10.18.44.1 (Wind River Linux LTS 18)
CVE-2018-16872 A flaw was found in qemu Media Transfer Protocol (MTP). The code opening files in usb_mtp_get_object and usb_mtp_get_partial_object and directories in usb_mtp_object_readdir doesn\'t consider that the underlying filesystem may have changed since the time lstat(2) was called in usb_mtp_object_alloc, a classical TOCTTOU problem.
