Resolved Date: Jan 4, 2017
Previous ID: LIN8-5169
Found In Version: unknown
Fix Version: 9.0.0.2
Severity: Standard
Applicable for: Wind River Linux 9
Component/s: Networking

Description

Using the configuration attribute 'clientaddr' in snmpd.conf to fulfill the requirement of "binding" snmp to a single IP address in an IP-multihomed environment.
The following configure doesn't work properly for IPv6:
[snmp]
clientaddr 2001:1b70:6281:f100::61
[snmpd]

But can work with the following configure for IPv4:
[snmp]
clientaddr 10.11.12.13
[snmpd]
