Resolved Date: Dec 5, 2013
Previous ID: LIN5-7090
Found In Version: 6.0
Fix Version:
Severity: Standard
Applicable for: Wind River Linux 6
Component/s: Userspace

When installing the toolchain on the target with the --with-layer=wr-installer,wr-toolchain --with-template=feature/target-toolchain, when you have to manually enter "dev-pkgs staticdev-pkgs" when "Install extra image features?" is asked, the backspace key does not work.

Reboot and restart installer

Steps to Reproduce

.../configure --enable-board=intel_xeon_core --enable-target-installer=yes --with-layer=wr-installer,wr-toolchain --with-sstate-dir=/local/sstate_dir --enable-kernel=standard --enable-rootfs=glibc_std --with-template=feature/target-toolchain --enable-bootimage=iso --enable-jobs=8 --enable-parallel-pkgbuilds=8 --with-rcpl-version=0007

Burn a USB with 'make usb-image-burn'.
Boot it on a target, let the installer start.
Use default options until "Install extra image features?" is asked.
While answering this question, press backspace key: weird characters are displayed instead of erased.
