Customer use WRlinux6 OVP with their project, they use ltp to run the ksm test case. While they always see failure with ksm01_1 and ksm03_01. I run the ltp in my side with common pc target and qemu target, with the common target, all the ksm test case passed, but with the qemu target, I get the same failure with the customer. I reproduce it with RCPL 18. Here is the log of ksm test case failure: -------------------------------------------------------------- Testcase Result Exit Value Fail Reason ------------------------------------------------------------- ksm01_1 FAIL 1 ksm03_1 FAIL 1 <<<test_start>>> tag=ksm01_1 stime=1408243798 cmdline="ksm01 -u 128" contacts="" analysis=exit <<<test_output>>> ksm01 0 TINFO : wait for all children to stop. ksm01 0 TINFO : KSM merging... ksm01 0 TINFO : resume all children. ksm01 0 TINFO : child 1 stops. ksm01 0 TINFO : child 0 stops. ksm01 0 TINFO : child 2 stops. ksm01 0 TINFO : child 2 continues... ksm01 0 TINFO : child 2 allocates 128 MB filled with 'a' ksm01 0 TINFO : child 1 continues... ksm01 0 TINFO : child 1 allocates 128 MB filled with 'a' ksm01 0 TINFO : child 0 continues... ksm01 0 TINFO : child 0 allocates 128 MB filled with 'c' ksm01 0 TINFO : ksm daemon takes 50s to scan all mergeable pages ksm01 0 TINFO : check! ksm01 0 TINFO : run is 1. ksm01 0 TINFO : pages_shared is 9434. ksm01 1 TFAIL : pages_shared is not 2. ksm01 0 TINFO : pages_sharing is 417492. ksm01 2 TFAIL : pages_sharing is not 98302. ksm01 0 TINFO : pages_volatile is 2. ksm01 3 TFAIL : pages_volatile is not 0. ksm01 0 TINFO : pages_unshared is 159367. ksm01 4 TFAIL : pages_unshared is not 0. ksm01 0 TINFO : sleep_millisecs is 0. ksm01 0 TINFO : pages_to_scan is 98304. ksm01 0 TINFO : wait for all children to stop. ksm01 0 TINFO : resume all children. ksm01 0 TINFO : child 2 stops. ksm01 0 TINFO : child 2 verifies memory content. ksm01 0 TINFO : child 2 continues... ksm01 0 TINFO : child 2 allocates 128 MB filled with 'a' ksm01 0 TINFO : child 1 stops. ....
