Resolved Date: Nov 16, 2014
Previous ID: LIN5-19693
Found In Version: 6.0
Fix Version: 6.0.0.15
Severity: Severe
Applicable for: Wind River Linux 6
Component/s: Toolchain, Userspace
Host OS: Linux Ubuntu
A view of the license.manifest from a Wind River Linux 5.0.1.7 shows the license type for items created with "wr_toolchain_prebuilt" (e.g libstdc++) as "MIT"
PACKAGE NAME: libstdc++6
PACKAGE VERSION: 4.6a-107
RECIPE NAME: wrl-toolchain-prebuilt
LICENSE: MIT
But it should be an LGPL license.
Apply the attached patch in ${WRLINUX_6}/layers/binary-toolchain-4.8* folder.
1. Create Wind River Linux project
/wrl501/wrlinux-5/wrlinux/configure --enable-board=intel-xeon-core --enable-build=production --enable-ccache=yes --enable-jobs=4 --enable-kernel=standard --enable-parallel-pkgbuilds=4 --enable-rootfs=glibc_small --with-sstate-dir=/work/wrl501/wrlinux-5/prebuiltObjects --with-rcpl-version=0007
2. Run a "make fs"
3. Interrogate the license manifest file under <projdir>/bitbake_build/tmp/deploy/licenses/wrlinux-image-glibc-small-intel-xeon-core-<date-time-stamp>
