In previous releases of Wind River Linux we had support for automatic rule generation in udev: Wind River Linux 5: ---- # rpm -qlp /Packages/x86_64/udev-164-r22.3.x86_64.rpm | grep net /etc/udev/scripts/network.sh /usr/lib64/udev/rules.d/75-net-description.rules /usr/lib64/udev/rules.d/75-persistent-net-generator.rules /usr/lib64/udev/write_net_rules ---- However in WRL 6.0 these files are no longer present in the udev RPM package because udev-182 contains an additional configure parameter --enable-rule_generator which is necessary in order for the udev rule generator to be installed. I suggest that we add this parameter back in to ensure the same level of functionality as in previous releases.
