We are facing an issue where the engineboots count on the master agent does not get updated into the /var/net-snmp/snmpd.conf file. This issue has been reported with bug CSCvd13820. After looking at the logs /mnt/disk0/log/ma_ctx2000.log file, we observe that the engineboots does increment but is not been updated into the snmpd.conf file. We were pointed out that this is a known issue and has been reported earlier as provided in this link https://sourceforge.net/p/net-snmp/bugs/2394/. A patch is also available for the same. Could you provide us pointers as to how we should proceed with this issue as we know that we need to make changes in the master_agent code.
