When using WRL on WildCat Pass found the following issue: kern.log:2015-10-30T23:44:15.025 controller-1 kernel: info NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth0 (igb): transmit queue 7 timed out This resets the adapters every so often. I looked online and found the following: http://sourceforge.net/p/e1000/bugs/395/ Latest igb driver from Intel site: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/59679/Intel-Ethernet-Controller-I350-Series https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/13663/Network-Adapter-Driver-for-82575-6-82580-I350-and-I210-211-Based-Gigabit-Network-Connections-for-Linux- This has been fixed in WRL 7 earlier this year: https://knowledge.windriver.com/en-us/000_Products/000/010/000/030/000_LIN7-4358_%3A_igb_0000%3A09%3A00.0%3A_Detected_Tx_Unit_Hang This same fix needs to be back ported to WRL 6 for TiS/OVP OR the latest driver from WRL 7/8 needs to be supported in WRL 6.
