Description

Problem where dlsym(RTLD_NEXT,"sigaction") is returning the UNDEF symbol rather than the correct address resolved by the next symbol in the shared library. A related fix was provided by the open source community and reproduced on the cavium octeon blade.

Installation Notes

  1. Unzip this patch under [install_dir]/updates

    2. "cd" into the newly created CD directory. Execute the command "./setup_linux"

    3. Follow the instructions for installing the point patch.

    4. Once the patch has been installed, run the command "make -C build linux.rebuild" to rebuild the Linux kernel.

    5. Run "make fs" next

    6. Upload the kernel and rootfs into the target and boot it up.
