the file path point to the sysroot path " /buildarea1/lyang0/guest/bitbake_build/tmp/sysroots/x86-64-kvm-guest/usr/src/kernel/tools/virtio/virtio-trace/trace-agent.c"

the sysroot maybe has't exist, when do_populate_lic

Workaround

do_populate_lic[depends] += "virtual/kernel:do_populate_sysroot"
