Severity: Standard
Applicable for: Wind River Linux 9
Component/s: Build & Config, Userspace

On our arm64 boards we are running only the kernel as 64bit. The whole user-space is 32bit.
The ebtables package does not work out of the box for us in this situation.

Looking at the recipe it can be seen that there is special code for a 32/64 bit use-case for powerpc.
Adding those defines to the build in our environment solves our problem.

Please fix the recipes to build ebtables correct for arm "32/64 split" use-case.

The error seen is:
[ 80.553645] kernel msg: ebtables bug: please report to author: Standard target size too big
