Fix Version: 7.0
Severity: Standard
Applicable for: Wind River Linux 7
Component/s: Userspace
Architecture: All
The "ifconfig del" command would not work well in the 64bits file system both on WRL5.0.1 and WRL6.0.
It could work well on the 32bits file system.
It also could work on the WRL4.3 64bits file system.
The same issue could reproduce on the Ubuntu 64bits file system.
1. Create the 64bits kernel and file system.
2. Boot the kernel and FS.
3. ifconfig eth0 add 10.1.1.110
4. ifconfig to check the "eth0:0" port
5. ifconfig eth0 del 10.1.1.110
6. ifconfig to check the "eth0:0" port,
Or used the wr-testing layer ETHERNET test case step 7 to reproduce this issue easily on the 64bits file system.
