LIN7-1519 : When canceling the platform project creation wizard with "also delete workbench project" option, the project is not really deleted

Created: Nov 5, 2014    Updated: Apr 19, 2018
Resolved Date: Apr 17, 2018
Found In Version: 7.0.0.0.LB14
Severity: Standard
Applicable for: Wind River Linux 7
Component/s: Workbench Integration

Description

If you cancel a platform project's configuration in the GUI tool, the project's configure directory is not automatically deleted.

Workaround

Manually delete the empty or partially populated project directory (typically named "<project>_prj").

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create Platform project in Workbench, name "foo"
2. Press Cancel in the wizard
3. When asked to also delete the WB project choose YES
--> Project appeas to be deleted, so far so good
4. Create Platform project name "foo"
--> Workbench reports an error that the "foo" folder already exists.

Expected behavior is that when I tell it to be gone, it should be really gone. You may need to call "wrtool prj delete -deletecontents" to remove it entirely.
