Description

WRL5 has an init script for starting the NFS server daemons: /etc/init.d/nfsserver

Most other distributions (eg Debian) include two scripts, one for starting the daemons common to both clients and servers and another for the extra server specific daemons:

  /etc/init.d/nfs-kernel-server
  /etc/init.d/nfs-common

We request a similar client/common start-up script.

Workaround

Start services manually.
