Reduce the size of an image and in the process of investigating the big size of the firmware folder in the lib directory in the roof, we discovered a couple of drivers that we consider not to be necessary for this specific BSP.
The directory included drivers for NVidia GPUs, Intel, Radeon.
Create a LTS 18 project with *--machines nxp-ls1028* and build a *small* image.
Uncompress the rootfs in a directory and go to: *rootfs/lib/firmware*
You can use the *du -h .* command to see the size of files.
