Using reproducible_builds bbclass while building projects this would fix several timestamps in the build (predictable dates). Several files in the rootfs are (predictable) timestamped with the epoch start creation/access/mtime. This causes the tar extraction command to suspect something is wrong when extracting the SDK (the file headers look corrupt, since the dates are all 0).
