The default mirror for the xerces-c package no longer provides the 3.1.4 version we are using in WRL9. http://apache.lauf-forum.at/xerces/c/3/sources/xerces-c-3.1.4.tar.bz2 There is only the 3.2.0 version available at http://apache.lauf-forum.at/xerces/c/3/sources/
1. create a WRL9 project 2. source the environment $ source oe-init-build-env 3. set BB_NO_NETWORK to 0 in local.conf 4. try to fetch the xerces-c package $ bitbake xerces-c -c fetch you will get the following warning: WARNING: xerces-c-3.1.4-r0 do_fetch: Failed to fetch URL http://apache.lauf-forum.at/xerces/c/3/sources/xerces-c-3.1.4.tar.bz2, attempting MIRRORS if available
