we are seeing an issue specific to WR6 kernel. On one of our platforms the first processor under /proc/cpuinfo doesn’t have the nx bit set yet the remain Processors have it set. We checked the bios settings and “Execute Disable” is enabled. We loaded WR8 kernel on this same unit and this issue goes away. We are wondering if someone from WR can provided some help on troubleshooting this. We have other platforms running this same WR6 kernel and don’t see this issue so it’s a little odd. I’ve highlighted the NX flag under processor 1 in **{nx}**. You will see that this same flag is missing on processor 0. There are 48 processors total and they all have nx except processor 0.
