Created: Jul 11, 2025    Updated: Jul 14, 2025
Found In Version: 10.23.30.1
Severity: Standard
Applicable for: Wind River Linux LTS 23
Component/s: Kernel

Description

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:EOL][EOL]aoe: clean device rq_list in aoedev_downdev()[EOL][EOL]An aoe device's rq_list contains accepted block requests that are[EOL]waiting to be transmitted to the aoe target. This queue was added as[EOL]part of the conversion to blk_mq. However, the queue was not cleaned out[EOL]when an aoe device is downed which caused blk_mq_freeze_queue() to sleep[EOL]indefinitely waiting for those requests to complete, causing a hang. This[EOL]fix cleans out the queue before calling blk_mq_freeze_queue().
