Wind River has introduced the latest version of Wind River Linux. The LTS 19 release was developed using continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) infrastructure and processes as part of our DevOps strategy. Based on the Yocto Project 3.0 (Zeus), it uses the 5.2 Linux kernel and provides:
- support for Docker and OverC on both x86 and Arm devices, augmenting the existing cloud-native capabilities for edge devices,
- support for Kubernetes, enabling customers to orchestrate containers built with Wind River Linux,
- support for OSTree, an industry-standard OTA upgrade system for Linux-based systems.
Developed and maintained under the ISO 9001:2015 certification for quality, Wind River Linux LTS 19 achieved an overall pass rate of 99.69%, the highest pass rate of any Wind River Linux release.
