Kprobes on PPC64 are registered by never triggered when built against PNE-LE 1.4 on the mot_atca6101. The example is from Documentation/kprobes.txt, but modified to print the register set from PPC64 rather than IA32.

Unzip the patch under [install_dir]/updates
Install the patch CD by entering the patch CD directory and run setup_linux.
This is a source only patch so you will have to build the kernel
Issue a make fs and make the kernel in a configured directory.
Upload the kernel and rootfs into the target and boot it up.
