The use case "Stand-Alone Deployment to Hard Disk" for Wind River Linux 2.0 updates and replaces Chapter 20, "Stand-Alone Deployment to Hard Disk" in the Wind River Linux Platforms User's Guide, 2.0.
This use case shows how to do the following:
1) Create a kernel and file system for a Common PC target.
2) Format the hard disk and install the kernel and file system on the target.
3) Boot the target.
A network connection to the target may be used but is not required if the target has a CD-ROM drive or USB port. IDENTIFIER = Use Case: Stand-Alone Deployment to Hard Disk
