On an IA target with SMP and Hyperthreading enabled running posix timer test for several hours, kernel crashed with a kernel NULL pointer Oops exception.
The error looks like:
Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 00000004 IDENTIFIER = WIND00108690-GPPLE1.4
Note: Please also take a look at patch for WIND00103385 along with this patch if applicable to you.
1. Copy the patch zip file to your [install_dir]/updates directory
2. Unzip the patch file
3. Go to your [install_dir]/updates/ directory
4. Run setup_linux and install the patch
5. This is a source patch so you will have to rebuild the kernel to get the patch.
