Severity: Severe
Applicable for: Wind River Linux 5
Component/s: Userspace
Host OS: Linux Ubuntu

My customer wants to have "dpkg" on his target (basically p4080) as he got on
WRLinux4.3. (so he wants to have dpkg, but not the packages as .deb, he is happy
with rpm :) )

Do to that, we tried to configure a standard WRLinux5.0 platform with dpkg added
with .addpkg and then a "make fs" (or build-all )
Dpkg is compiled ! But Everything fail when building rootfs :

Computing transaction...error: Can't install dpkg- no
package provides

Why doesn't WRL5 wants to put perl-native in rootfs ? It seems like a bug.
Do you have any idea how to have dpkg on target filesystem ? ? :(

Steps to Reproduce

configure a standard platform
/WRL5/wrlinux-5/wrlinux/configure --enable-kernel=standard --enable-rootfs=glibc_std --enable-board=fsl-e500mc --enable-jobs=8

make -C build dpkg.addpkg
make fs
