run pod2man des.pod on Ubuntu 12.04
Be carefully when using the \fB\-u\fR option. Doing \fBdes \-ud\fR \fIfilename\fR will
not decrypt filename (the \fB\-u\fR option will gobble the \fB\-d\fR option).
The \s-1VMS\s0 operating system operates in a world where files are always a
multiple of 512 bytes. This causes problems when encrypted data is
send from Unix to \s-1VMS\s0 since a 88 byte file will suddenly be padded
with 424 null bytes. To get around this problem, use the \fB\-u\fR option
to uuencode the data before it is send to the \s-1VMS\s0 system.
