LIN5-4563 : --enable-target-installer=yes generated all hddimg iso ext3 images

Created: Apr 8, 2013    Updated: Dec 19, 2017
Resolved Date: Apr 28, 2013
Found In Version: 5.0.1
Fix Version: 5.0.1.3
Severity: Severe
Applicable for: Wind River Linux 5
Component/s: Build & Config

Description

config wrlinux 5.0.1.1 project with --enable-target-installer as below,
/mnt/backup/501ga/wrlinux-5/wrlinux/configure --enable-kernel=standard --enable-rootfs=glibc_std+debug --enable-board=intel-xeon-core --enable-reconfig --enable-target-installer=yes --enable-rm-work=yes --enable-parallel-pkgbuilds=2 --enable-jobs=2 --with-rcpl-version=0001

after building was completed, we find different format images under {project}/bitbake_build/tmp/deploy/images as below,
2081824 -rw-r--r-- 1 xxxx users 2165440512 Apr 4 17:12 wrlinux-image-glibc-std-intel-xeon-core-20130404145331.hddimg
2082000 -rw-r--r-- 1 xxxx users 2132803584 Apr 4 17:14 wrlinux-image-glibc-std-intel-xeon-core-20130404145331.iso
1326232 -rw-r--r-- 1 xxxx users 2029045760 Apr 4 17:09 wrlinux-image-glibc-std-intel-xeon-core-20130404145331.rootfs.ext3

since each image occupied around 2G, it wasted a lot of disk space, and increased also build time and size. We should only keep *.iso, and remove the other two.

Steps to Reproduce

1. config project with --enable-target-installer like below on wrlinux 5.0.1.1,
/mnt/backup/501ga/wrlinux-5/wrlinux/configure --enable-kernel=standard --enable-rootfs=glibc_std+debug --enable-board=intel-xeon-core --enable-reconfig --enable-target-installer=yes --enable-rm-work=yes --enable-parallel-pkgbuilds=2 --enable-jobs=2 --with-rcpl-version=0001

2. make fs, and after building completed, under bitbake_build/tmp/deploy/images, there were all hddimg, iso, and ext3 format images. we should actually expect *.iso image.
