LIN5-3537 : misses some layers during the process resulting in a different BSP

Created: Apr 16, 2013    Updated: Dec 19, 2017
Resolved Date: Apr 28, 2013
Found In Version: 5.0.1
Fix Version:
Severity: Severe
Applicable for: Wind River Linux 5
Component/s: Kernel

After cloning an fsl-p10xx BSP, the resulting kernel is different than the original one due to missing layers during the clone process. This is happening when an RCPL is installed.
Other parts of the BSP may be affected.

Steps to Reproduce

.       create a platform project for fsl-p10xx:
/proj/mlsw/windriver/ --enable-board=fsl-p10xx --enable-kernel=standard --enable-rootfs=glibc_small --enable-parallel-pkgbuilds=24 --enable-jobs=24 --enable-bootimage=jffs2,tar.bz2

2.       I cloned the fsl-p10xx BSP by the command: -f EXPORT -s fsl-p10xx -x /proj/elinuxpf/teidmor/mylayers/export -n fsl-p10xx-mod-auto

3. I created a platform project selecting the board fsl-p10xx-mod-auto (and including. by --with-layer, the layer crated before):
/proj/mlsw/windriver/ --enable-board=fsl-p10xx-mod-auto --enable-kernel=standard --enable-rootfs=glibc_small --enable-parallel-pkgbuilds=24 --enable-jobs=24 --enable-bootimage=jffs2,tar.bz2

the two BSPs are different, starting with a different kernel:
for the original BSP::
