Created: Oct 31, 2013    Updated: Dec 19, 2017
Resolved Date: Dec 4, 2013
Found In Version: 5.0.1
Fix Version:
Severity: Standard
Applicable for: Wind River Linux 5
Component/s: Build & Config

Back porting c54e738e2b5dc0d8e6fd8e93b284ed96e7a83051 from bitbake upstream would fix it.

bitbake gnome-common -c cleansstate

Steps to Reproduce

1 build a project with sstate.
2 excute:
    bitbake gnome-common
    bitbake pseudo-native -c cleansstate
    bitbake gnome-common -c clean
    bitbake gnome-common

The problem theoretically affects code like useradd too as well as anything using a sstate postinstall.
