The pthreads library has a bug and causes applications to crash. This affects many applications, ntpd is an example.

This is the Quark architecture on the Galileo board.

Steps to Reproduce

 /sbin/start-stop-daemon --start -x /usr/sbin/ntpd -- -u ntp:ntp -p /var/run/ -g

Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault.
