There are some problems using mpatrol library which is not using symbolic link, but a physical copy. The problem exits on both architectures IA64 and IA32.

Steps to Reproduce

Generated a project with the following config line:

~/symbolic_links_wrl5.0.1$ cat config.log
# Generated by wrlinux configure at Wed Feb 26 09:21:24 EET 2014
/installs/wrlinux501/wrlinux-5/wrlinux/configure --enable-board=intel-xeon-core-32 --enable-kernel=cgl --enable-rootfs=glibc_cgl --with-template=feature/kvm,feature/target-toolchain,feature/debug-wb,feature/analysis,feature/code_coverage,feature/oprofile,feature/system-stats,feature/valgrind,feature/wrsv-ltt --with-package=gdb,gdbserver --enable-parallel-pkgbuilds=9 --enable-jobs=9 --enable-ldconfig --with-rcpl-version=0011

make usb-image-burn

boot from the usb drive and issue the following commands:

Wind River Linux localhost console

localhost login: root
root@localhost:~# ls
root@localhost:~# ldconfig
ldconfig: /usr/lib/ is not a symbolic link

ldconfig: /usr/lib/ is not a symbolic link

ldconfig: /usr/lib/ is not a symbolic link

root@localhost:~# uname -a
Linux localhost 3.4.43-grsec-WR5.0.1.11_cgl #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Feb 26 09:46:35 EET 2014 i686 GNU/Linux
