LIN5-1460 : knotty2 fails to respond after the Keyboard Interrupt has been sent

Created: Mar 6, 2013    Updated: Dec 19, 2017
Resolved Date: Apr 16, 2013
Found In Version: 5.0.1
Fix Version: 5.0.1.3
Severity: Low
Applicable for: Wind River Linux 5
Component/s: Build & Config

Description

If you press CTRL-C during a bitbake build it will attempt to complete the current tasks before exiting. If this is during any long task like linux-windriver do_install there is no way of seeing the progress.

The knotty2 interface will no longer respond to input to adjust the log levels. This is annoying as you have no idea whether to be patient and wait it out or press CTRL-C to gratuitously kill things off.
