LIN5-11517 : rpc.statd using lockd port

Previous ID: LIN4-5913

Fix Version:
Severity: Severe
Applicable for: Wind River Linux 5
Component/s: Networking

We ran into a problem where lockd's port was used by rpc.statd which in turn prevented the host from booting up (required NFS mount etc).

This is because there is a bug in rpc.statd's code.

Steps to Reproduce

Since the port used is random it may take several attempts to reproduce the problem.

Start and stop lockd and rpc.statd enough times and you will find that lockd can not open a required port because rpc.statd already took it (or vice versa).
