Description

Kernel boot error related to DMA observed when booting LS1028A RDB board  

 

fsl-qdma 8380000.dma-controller: Adding to iommu group 18
fsl-qdma 8380000.dma-controller: Can't get dma-channels.
fsl-qdma: probe of 8380000.dma-controller failed with error -22

Steps to Reproduce

git clone --branch WRLINUX_10_19_LTS https://windshare.windriver.com/remote.php/gitsmart/WRLinux-lts-19-Core/wrlinux-x

setup.sh --machines nxp-ls1028

bitbake wrlinux-image-glibc-small

test Image on target

Reserve target barcode 27599

Use Copy Files to copy kernel, rootfs, and dtb images (as the target is in Ottawa, try to use local server such as yow-lpggp3 or yow-tuxlab2  (for instance, i copied my images to /net/yow-tuxlab2/export/pxeboot/ and use that path in 'Copy Files')
